Blended learning to promote professional behavior during the covid-19 pandemic: A pilot study

Background: Following the evidence concerning unprofessional behavior, a blended learning module for nursing students was developed to promote professional behavior. However, due Covid-19 pandemic, modified into full online learning. This modification provided new experience both lecturers and students, especially during role-play videos through video conferences. study aimed examine educational interventions using modules student perceptions of behaviors such as civility role models in education.Methods: applied pre post-test design. used two questionnaires assess respondents’ perceptions, including index questionnaire model questionnaire. A total 44 respondents at private school Jakarta were involved study. As modality shifted fully learning, only 20 finished intervention. Subsequently, 17 completed before after intervention.Results: indicates significant difference on classmate (p-value 0.08) intervention.Conclusions: Students become more aware expected from their classmates have higher expectations civil peers participating Moreover, produced by are also that able demonstrate civility-incivility instances education. Further research is recommended involving number control group support generalizability results.
